Semi Active Differential

Almost all high performing cars adopt some kind of Limited Slip Differentials to improve their traction capability, overbalancing the power on the most adherent wheel in a pure mechanical way. As a drawback, a yaw torque builds up, which could be either oversteering or understeering depending on the driving conditions. This effect could be difficult to manage, but up until today this was the price to pay to improve the traction capabilities of the vehicle.
